Wildflowers

I enjoy watching the wildflowers change on the Nose Hill Escarpment by the Country Hills Golf Course. We have many photos of the first spring crocuses, then their fuzzy heads, and I keep returning to see the procession of prairie smoke, buffalo beans, Solomon's seal, wild roses, fleabanes, gaillardia, yarrow, asters, and seeding grasses. It's just a little bit of native prairie, but it helps me feel like I'm a little closer to the original earth.
